Prim Mallet

Here's what I did with the wooden mallet I picked up at the thrift store on Wednesday. I painted a saltbox house, a willow tree and a couple of sheep. I then added a grubby tag with a vintage photo, glued a wooden star on the bottom of the tag and tied it to the handle with a piece of homespun and some pip berries. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

  2. Thanks so much Patti! I was so happy when I found the mallet this week =) Good luck in finding some I haven't had any luck finding any until Wednesday. I bought a metal one to replace the wooden one I had a few years ago and now I don't remember what I did with the wooden one LOL.

  3. I love how you painted the design on the head of the mallet. That is a very cute idea! Cute picture too!
