Before and After Pear Transformation

Do you remember seeing this ugly gold pear I bought at the thrift store? Well I wasn't going to keep it looking the way it was so I gave it a makeover and turned this ugly pear into a treasure which I will be keeping for myself. What a difference a new paint of coat makes with a little splattering and antiquing then I added a few pip berries, a tag with the words "Big Olde Pear" and a piece of green homespun. I wonder what the person that gave this pear away to the thrift store would say now? It's going to be a beautiful sunny day here today  and we will be  riding the bike =) I hope everyone has a fabulous day!

  3. I love the way the pear turned out! I have about a 1/2 dozen of them that I picked up at the TS and I'm not a painter like yourself! I've seen some of them with crows, stars and willow tree on them. Love them but darn don't want to ruin them. Oh, well.
Love all your items. Talented lady!
