I painted this sign which is 4 feet long by 1 foot wide for a customer who will put this in her hairdressing salon.
I grabbed my can of clear spray to give it a few coats of varnish and start panicking when I see this
I grabbed grey spray paint instead of clear, both cans are blue. Can you imagine my horror when I saw grey on the sign I had just finished painting? Has this ever happened to you? I recommend to everyone to read labels I know I will. I did manage to fix the sign and here it is

I haven't done that but have used an Aleenes Eggshell Crackle product that turned milky white on my huge clock face and ruined it completely. Nothing but a full sanding and starting over from basecoat will fix it. The company of course had no idea why.
